Founded in 1932 by Tom Mullen and Jack Lemann, Rome Plow Company was born out of a need for durable, high-quality tillage equipment to complement Caterpillar tractors. By acquiring the well-established Towers and Sullivan Plow Company of Rome, Georgia—originally founded in 1877—Mullen and Lemann laid the foundation for a brand that would become synonymous with rugged reliability. In 1934, the company relocated to Cedartown, Georgia, where it continues to expand its facilities and product line.
